Objects in the Sky knallt mit Zirkustechnik, Soundcollagen und autofiktionaler Auseinandersetzung mitten rein in die Frage: Wer darf hier eigentlich sein, wie ersiethey ist? Migrantisch, queer, lowclass, akademisch, anarchistisch – Identitäten sind nie nur eins, sondern immer plural.. Zwischen klapprigen Grenzen und fetten Privilegien zerpflückt das Stück das Paradox der Zugehörigkeit.

Getrieben von queeren, feministischen und postmigrantischen Kritiken an Assimilation und der Selbst- wie Fremdausbeutung in der Kulturbranche, greift Objects in the Sky aktuelle Diskurse auf und transformiert sie durch kraftvolle Bildsprache in eine Zirkuscollage.

Objects in the Sky dives head-first into the question, employing circus techniques, sound collages and autofictional enquiry. Who gets to be here, and how do they exist? Identities are never just one thing, but always plural: migrant, queer, low-class, academic, anarchist. Tearing apart the paradox of belonging, the piece navigates the flimsy borders and fat privileges that define our sense of belonging. Driven by queer, feminist, and postmigrant critiques of assimilation, self-exploitation, and external exploitation in the cultural sector, Objects in the Sky engages with current discourses, transforming them through powerful imagery into a circus collage.
